Planning the Perfect Royal Event Engagement Party

Congratulations-you’re engaged!  Now to plan your engagement party… far from the usual bland, ho-hum get-together. Royal Events will guide you to design a memorable and fun engagement party your guests will never forget!

The Party Vibe

Your wedding will be formal enough.  Keep your engagement party light and playful! Royal Events will help you visual and design the party that will make your closest friends and family enjoy themselves. We can start from a casual BBQ in the backyard announcement to the vineyard venue or you & your fiances favorite restaurant or maybe the place where it all began. First, let us help you design beautiful & romantic announcements for your engagement party. This is the time & place where you want to announce the person of your dreams has proposed to you, loves you and wants to spend the rest of their lives with you! Royal Events is partners with several different DJ’s to get your engagement party started! Royal Events will also cater to any menu you chose for your guests.

Engagement Photo
Have an engagement photo taken at your earliest convenience. Have both black and white photos made as well as color prints made. Royal Events is coordinated with a wonderful photographer who will catch that “so in love moment”! If you are planning a big announcement Royal Events can  contact the newspapers where you and your fiance’ are from and grew up  & will obtain the engagement announcement forms required to place the announcement in the papers. We can also use your engagement photo as your engagement announcement invites!

MR.& MRS.

Royal Events suggests your engagement parties are held one to three months after the engagement, and/or about a year before the wedding. For others it can be held any time more than six months before the wedding. Don’t worry, there is no need to get stressed we will help you make the best announcement invitations!

An engagement party marks the beginning of a fun and emotional journey for the happy couple getting married. If you’re looking for a cake that will turn heads ask Royal Events to contact our specialty baker/caterer. They will make your engagement & wedding cake something you will not forget & make sure to save those two pieces in your freezer for your first engagement/wedding anniversary! (for good luck!!)

You shouldn’t expect gifts as etiquette does not dictate that guests should bring them. But the announcement of an engagement inevitably gets some guests thinking about gifts, and this is a time that they might start asking your family where you are registered.  Royal Events has a list full of places where you & your fiance can register any items you like. Some of your guests will bring presents to the party. Therefore it’s a good idea to have registered for a few things before sending the invitations. However, as not everyone will bring something, don’t make the gifts a central part of the party. Put them aside, and open them after the guests have left.

Royal Events will also love to help you send out those cute thank you cards for anyone who attended your party. Anyone who brought a gift, Royal Events wants to make a suggestion to write down on a notepad who bought you what, this way when we write out your thank you cards your guests they will feel honored that you knew exactly what they had bought you. This will also make you feel good as well.
